Job Brief
We have an urgent requirement for a Dot net developer ready to join within 45 days or earlier. You goal will be to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.
** Candidates with at least 3 years experience need to apply.
** Ready to travel for short-term on-site opportunities globally (based on travel conditions).
** A bachelor degree or higher in Comp.sc, IT, or related disciplines with good technical understanding preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accountancy, or related disciplines; BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
- Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Microsoft certified in related topics will be preferred.
- Must be able to manage time, prioritize and communicate commitments
- Must have strong client and internal communication skills with experience working in highly collaborative teams
- Must be able to produce specific examples of work product (functional requirements, design, output, test plans, etc.)
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English language.
- Strong listening & presentation skills.
